Sandals
Our premiere sandal manufacturer is primarily comprised of women from the Maasai community, providing them with employment opportunities. Many of these women are illiterate and would not otherwise have means to a livelihood. They are talented artisans and receive a fair wage for their work. In addition, these women have access to loans and medical assistance.
The company is equally interested in protecting our environment. They use a variety of beads that are made from recycled glass, locally produced brass ornamental beads, recycled magazine beads or Czechoslovakian glass beads. A chemical free tanning process is used on the leather, and the soles are made from recycled tires.
